Sunday Weekly Weigh In
Good morning gents!
I am happy to report I am back down to 193. Lost the 2 pounds I gained last week. Keeping the activity level up, and trying to eat right. Cut back on salt and white carbs (crackers mostly).
I decided I had to get rid of the Big Daddy name under my photo - part of training my brain that I ain't so big no more! Had to buy some 34 inch jeans and medium sized shirts this week. I am very pleased to see those sizes, but still can't believe it.
So what have you been struggling with this week, and what are your successes?

I am down 4 lbs. this week and as of today I am down about 46 lbs total. Based on my original goal of reaching 190, I am over half-way to that goal. I have to wonder if I am losing too fast. I continue to have problems with energy levels. This has been compounded by my having an ear infection this past week and on anti-biotics. Blood sugar**** 180's a couple of times but I am not surprised based on the ear infection. Blood pressure continues to be great if not a little low and I need to talk to my PCP about going off medication completely. Already dropped dosage twice.
I can still only eat a couple of ounces at a time and getting everything in is still a problem. My medications in the morning are the toughest as i cannot eat for at least and hour after I take my meds and it seems I am behind all day in getting protein, water, and meds in. I have added some extra carbs to try and help with the energy. Despite these challenges, I am happy where I am hope things will improve energywise this comming week.

Still losing 13 months out... Closing in on goal. Kicked up the exercise a couple notches and lost 25 lbs in 2 months. Just like the early days out. XL shirts down from 6X. 40 inch waist down from 64. Fricking awesome energy levels. I love my new life.

Without going into my weight loss history, I just want to say that I lost 6.4 lbs in the past 1.5 wks and have lost a total of 35 lbs since 01-29-09 when I started a food addicts diet using the Beck's Diet Solution. I had my original RNY on 11-14-2000 and a revision due to staple line disruption on 01-21-2005. But, although the WLS limited what I ate at meals, I am a compulsive eater, sugar and white carb addict, and junk food junkie. The WLS did not cure that condition. But, thanks to working the exercises in Beck's I have been in remission since 01-29-09.
