And the Saga Continues

So I have been on liquids a month now. I just got off the phone with the docs office again and I am furious.  My date was May 8th and everything confirmed.  I get a call that well we are moving it to the 22nd cause you are not 399 yet. I am 407, so I have till Wed to be 399.  *******S!!!!!!

The hospital was supposed to have a meeting today to raise their BMI to 60 and now they say well we can't have that meeting till Monday now.. It's been canceled twice already..

I am ready to be on the news now...

Hey, I got cancelled the night before was supposed to have my surgery the first time because they wanted me to have a stress test.  I know it sucks, but I talked to someone who was pulled off the table, he had the IV's in him and everything.  Keep your focus on losing those extra pounds and then you will be cleared.  They are the professionals and they have their reasons.  Keep your Cool, it's not worth the raise in blood pressure.

Umm, I hear you but man I am on the third time and it has nothing to do with me. The first time was a hospital change now the new Hospital wants to become a Center of Excellence and they are trying to play it safe but The NUT says you are too heavy for the equipment

When I am being jacked around I start to worry about the competence of the facility and start to think what's really going on.

This is the place to vent.  I hope you are getting it off your chest here and not carrying it with you all day long.  We here you Bro, but like I said before, 5 years from now none of this will matter so stay calm and roll with the punches (Rope a Dope).  The center of Excellence thing is for real that is why they are putting you off, they want no complications.  That is in your best interest.

I just called ASMBS and they are not a COE and have never applied for it yet. I am starting to Doubt them now, something must be up..  When I am in Doubt I start researching chit. and will go at it non stop..

What??? That's crazy..... A BM of 60 most of us would be dead by then or near it. What are they talking about. I cant imagine that any of these surgeons would allow that..

I know I need a Dammit Doll.. Something to beat the **** out of when I am pissed off..

      I would start to think that you are at the wrong hospital! My surgeon and the hospital I was operated at both do patients way over 400lbs. I was 459 when they wheeled me into surgery and that was at a Center Of Excellence. I know my surgeon has operated on people in excess of 600 lbs and the hospital is set up for the special needs of Morbidly Obese and even Super Obese patients. Having been Super Obese I know this all first hand.

I know Nick and I am starting to doubt things and I dont want to get that way. I will be paranoid at every little thing.  It's not my Surgeon its the damn hospital and their play it safe rules till they become a Center of Excellence..  I Have till Monday to drop 8lbs
