Hey Nick
Camping was awesome. I hope i can do it more often. I was looking forward to a week camping the end of May with the family. Not likely gonna happen now that I was laid off my job last Thursday. Even if i am working soon I won't have the vacation time for it now - sucks.
Low point of the campout was I blew out a tire but it was easily remedied. It was Tate's (my 11 yrd old) first Scout outing and being a district camporee he was able to pass off a lot of rank advancement requirements.
Sorry I can't join you up at your retreat - sounds fun. I always enjoy being in the outdoors.

Yeah the economy has us all messed up. I haven't see it this bad since the 80's. Not a good thing. I am hoping to be able to go hunting for all the weeks I was planning in the fall, but I know I will have to cut my hunts this year. I have already passed on an elk hunt in Sept. I hope you find a job soon. I know what is it like to be in your shoes.
Scouting really does build kids. I have nothing but great memories of scouting. As for my place in WY it will always be there, Dan.

I do have an interview tomorrow and I have been planning on starting my own business for awhile. I am still starting up but I have a single client :). My business is CopperRidge Computers. www.CopperRidgeComputers.com
Scouting is the best thing for young men I believe. My grandfather was a scoutmaster for 30 yrs. My highlight in scouting (besides receiving my Eagle) was being able to attend the National Jamboree in 1989. It was an unbelievable experience at 16 yrs old.

First of all, congratulations on your success. Secondly, you may not realize it, but you are one of the regulars that many men are now looking up to. One of the attractions of this Forum is that men can freely share both their successes and failures and help others either way. Keep up the good work and keep us posted.
