Wednesday Coffee Talk

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!  Sorry to yell so loud, but I couldn't wait to do coffee talk this morning!! I GET TO HAVE COFFEE!!  LOL  I declare, I slept 2 days away!  After having tests and then 22 vials of blood drawn on Tuesday, all I have wanted to do is SLEEP!!  I'm awake this morning though and I AM ENJOYING MY COFFEE!!  I'm getting the cart before the horse.  LOL  I only hope you have slept as good as I have....just not as much.  LOL

Our challenge for today is to live life to its fullest!  We have a life that is not meant to jus****ch it go by day by day, but it is meant to live and to ENJOY!  Life is too short to let the cares of this life get you down.  Pick yourself up, dust off your backside, get out of your pity party (sorry) and LIVE YOUR LIFE!! Not only life it, but ENJOY YOUR LIFE!  I dare you get get yourself together, breathe deep and GO GET 'EM TODAY!!

So, who's awake this morning?  What cha sippin' on?  Me?  I'm sippin' on some just plain old Folgers in my cup!  Sho nuff is good too.  Join me today!  ???

I haven't had my breakfast yet, but I always have a cup of coffee then.  Yes, I have it with breakfast and I don't worry about nor believe in not drinking while eating.  I'll freely admit that I only drink about 1/3 of the cup while I have a leisurely breakfast and then nurse the rest for another hour or more.  My wife doesn't understand how I can like cold to less than warm coffee as much as I like iced coffee and I don't see the difference.

In an effort to cut down on my trips to Dunkin' Donuts for their lattes, I had my wife buy some whipped cream to put on my iced coffee.  I make my coffee with milk and DaVinciGourmet SF/FF  syrup and pour it in a large glass on ice.  Then I add some whipped cream and some more of the syrup.

I actually went to Dunkin' Donuts yesterday to celebrate with a lite latte after I learned I had lost 6.4 lbs in a wk and a grand total of 35 lbs since i gave up my addicting foods on 01-29-09.  I know that the Beck Diet Solution advocates celebrating weight losses without food rewards, but this is the only time I did this in that whole period.  I found out soon that a couple cups of coffee not only has a diaretic effect;  for me it also has a laxative effect.

    Morning Bob!!  Didn't realize you and I were SO much alike with our coffee.  My wife is the same way.  I love my coffee, with or w/o b'fast (any meal) and when I can only sip 1/3 of the cup, I save it for ice coffee and add SF syrup and ice.  LOL  LOVE IT!  Have a great day my friend and yep!  It even has that same laxative effect on me as well!!  Did last night!  HA!   OK!  TMI!
