Dx E will you please post a list of your prior long messages
I mentioned as part of a discussion that you took part in on Sun 04-26 that the men could look at your old post by linking to your latest posts. I'm particularly interested in what you had posted about breaking a plateau. I've personally saved most of the long posts that applied to me in a couple of folders, but I absolutely stink at most basic computer skills. I simply can't make 'copy and paste' work and I've had a PC for over 10 years.
But, I do want the guys, especially the newer ones to benefit from you research and your use of that very skill. So, If you get this message, I thank you for what you can do. Bob
Bob,
It's been a long time since I've seen Dx E around here - really miss his insight and thoughts on the journey. He was one of several men who were so vitally important to me during my pre-op and early post-op months. Hope all is well with him and the others who have moved on to spend more time with their "real" lives.
That said - I did have this link to his old Plateau Buster post. Hope it will help!

I thank you all for your replies--especially the link about the Plateau Breaker. Someone had asked about it a few days ago. Please note that Dx E lists all of the things that may affect weight loss. Many of them should not be changed without a doctor's help. If you are on heart meds and suspect that your heart medication is affecting your weight loss, contact your primary or your cardiologist to see if there is an alternative medication that you can take with your particular WLS. Similar arguments can be made for many other meds. I have personal experience since I used to be on lithium for bi-polar and was switched to Depakote to enable weight loss.
The other point of my post was to know that you can link to an individual's latest posts to get a history of their posts. You get the topic line and their response. I often refer people to check my latest posts especially on the Main Forum when I seem to be posting the same thing almost every day about the success I have had in using the Beck Diet Solution.
Oh, since I didn't get weighed last week, I just want to mention that I saw my cardiologist today and am now 356--I lost 6.4 lbs in the last week. And, since I started my new way of eating on 01-29-09, I have lost 35 lbs. I gave up sugar, white flour, and all junk food. And, I feel good. Bob

Thanks for posting this. I was thinking almost the same thing. I'm going to go back through a lot of DX's post and copy and paste some of the best ones for use later. DX...If you happen to see this (like I mentioned about a year ago) you really should take 100 (or so) of your best posts and put them in a CD for sale. Many new post ops really could use it. Brian
