Bored so Sharing some pics (not girly)

Here are some pics of one of the largest jobs I have worked on to date. I was on site for almost one year. I am a PT contractor for the AP, Associated Press. You know getting ready for the digital change. They upgraded all their technology. lol they still have some old Morris Code equipt still installed and functional.

I was hired to do asset management for 9 Million in Equipment but they were short on help so I was thrown into the lions den and learned to do everything from Audio/video to Broadcast media.   I did install everything into the racks and someone else came and wired it.  I wired the easy stuff..  Like Studios and a few Control centers. 

The bulk of the Job was spent in this room. This is the Core of the system.  There are 70 racks in this room.

Temp in 40 deg with an ambient temp of 60

I didn't think that Manly Monday should be every week, but maybe once a month. Would a weekly thing work? Do you think that's enough time for everyone to get photos together? If it is I will start a MM thread every Monday. Dude I am not neat and tidy enough for a job that size lol - looks like it would have been a nice long project!

Yea was 4 floors of 82,000 SF,  not including all the Senate buildings, White House, Congress and Capital Hill. Then the stuff we did at BBC.

The Joint Operations Command Center, One of 4 in the DC area. 

The JOCC is a combined operation center shared by the MPD, the FBI, and the U.S. Secret Service, The room has twenty rear-projection displays, arranged in three sections, one for the FBI, a center section of eight monitors for the MPD, and a section for the USSS. 

Errrr   UnitedDood ..    now that you have shown us all this high-tech gov. stuff, you're not going to have to kill us, are you?  

No you're safe. I didn't post the pics of the Secure stuff. I been in places where camera phones are not allowed. I can not show pics of the Apple G servers.  They are touchy about that chit.

WOW looks like fun! I would love to do something like that.
