Finally had my RNY on 07.16.2008

After a year of jumping through hoops with the insurance company I just had my RNY and doing pretty well. I dropped 18LBS as of Tuesday.

I am also really excited to get my page here up and running, finally. Does anyone have any suggestions on uploading photos? I keep using the upload feature but the photos don't seem to make it through the process.

Also, any know of a good place or way to create an avatar that works?

Any other tips would be great.

PS. For those that remember the conversation, I made it through without a house dress...DOH!!

Glad to hear it went so well, and that you're back in action.

All I know about making an avatar is to make sure it's square, and under the right file size, or it gets all skewed. I use a Mac, so other than that I can't help you much

Congrats, Ryan.  We have the same surgery date.  Good luck - I hope you keep doing as well has you have so far. 

Hey good luck to you as well. How are things going for you? I seem to feel better and more mobile every day. Only complication, and not much of oen at that, was a mild case of Thrush which they attributed to my being on heavy doses of various anti-biotics prior to surgery.

Gratz on your RNY. I am sure it was worth every hoop jumped. As far as photos try changing the size (resolution) of the photos. If the file is too large they will not upload. Many photo software programs will allow you to change the resolution of your photos to fit web pages.
