Nausea (bad)

I am one month post op and absolutely feel like crap! I cannot eat anything without feeling like I am going to puke, even water makes me nauseous!! This can't be right.
I have been on nothing but soups since Saturday when I got violently ill after eating a few pieces of sauteed shrimp and steamed cauliflower, it all tastes like s&*t and it makes me sick.
Also, I have not lost a pound in two weeks after losing almost 30 between my surgery date and first doctors visit...what gives?
I am desperate here as I don't know if I will ever be able to eat health nutricious food again.

You could have a stricture. You might want to call your surgeon to let them know so they can see about having you scoped for a dilation. Also, if you got sick on something you ate, it could be your pouch is swollen, but best to call the doc to be sure.

it's pretty normal to hit a stall around 2 to 4 weeks post op. I hit one at 3 weeks and it lasted for about 3 weeks.. Annoying? very.. but it will break. Your body is going through a lot of changes very quickly. Also, your tastes change, so it may take some time to find things that taste good.

Trust me, it all gets better. The early days are the hardest, but as the time goes on, things get better and better as you see the pounds and inches drop! Good luck and hope you feel better.

If you can't keep ANYTHING down I would agree that it may be a stricture.  I "think" they can be remedied fairly easily, but I'm not sure.  For sure worth a call or visit to the doc. 

Thanks guys, I did email my Dr and he seems to think that it is just the quantity or the temperature of the foods I am eating. I am a little better today so hopefully this is going to pass.
The weight thing really has me bummed out, glad to know that others are hitting this 'wall' as well. I was losing about 2 pounds a day right after surgery and thought this is terrific now nothing in two weeks, really depressing.
