arms and legs falling asleep
If it happens during the day, you might want to get your blood pressure checked out.
If it happens when 'you' are asleep, can't really tell you much... other than it's happened to me post-op as well. Usually I'm sleeping on one of my arms, stomach down. I've learned to just deal with it, doesn't happen terribly often to cause a concern.
Have you told your doctor about the problem?
An example would be, not to be too crass, but when im on the toilet. The pressure to the back of my legs ends up making my legs "fall asleep" , if I move a bit it goes away just as fast as it comes, but before the surgery this did not happen as easily as it does now
i will call my dr
I am having the same issue. Talk about it with my PCP last week.. For me I get it in my arms depending on how much pressure Im putting on one. My legs are fall to sleep ALL THE TIME.. If I am sitting in an unusualy mannor, if I lay on my back lay on my stomach or if I am standing still for too long. Doctor thinks it might be just too much presure against my vanes in those areas of the body. But, I am going to see another doctor about the problem because it can be a sign of MANY other problems. Cardiac and cerculation, caners, and even a sign of back problems such as a slipped disc. So far they have ruled out cadiac only because I JUST had a complete physical a month ago. .. I will find out more next week. But, ask your doctor.. YOU DO NOT WANT TO LET IT GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
