NUKED!!
Well, had my nuclear stress test last week on 7/17 and 7/18. This is the last pre-op test. (I think and I hope). First day was injected with "stuff" and had to lay still for about 20 minutes while they took pics. The next day, they hooked me to an EKG machine and shot me with stuff that looked like Mountain Dew. I had to do the second day without anything to drink or eat. After a few minutes, I started to get light headed (yes, even more than usual). When we finished I was given coffee to drink, because the doc said caffiene would reverse the effect of the "mountain dew". They then took me back to the room to take a 2nd patch of pics. My cardiologist called today and said my arteries were clear,
but had some damage from the congestive heart failure I had back in 2000. Wasn't bad. but he said he needed to note it, so the surgeon would be aware and make any adjustments during surgery as necessary. He didn't feel it would keep me from surgery and also felt that it would get better when I got my weight off. WHEW! Last test down! Michael.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! For updating I ment to ask you last week about. NICE to know that this is not going to stop you from having surgery. So did they stick a light buld in your mouth????? ( I know bad joke but the first thing that comes up when you say nuclear).. Im still in the beginning part of this already cant wait see what they make me do.
