...just in your first weeks home?
Hang in there,
It DOES GET EASIER!
.... just hitting your first stall?
It happenes to many....
Scan back over the last months of this weekly post,
And you’ll get a fairly clear picture of the fact
that there isn’t a "Typical" progress,
Just massive, persistent, overwhelming - PROGRESS!
Yes, using the scales can make some crazy,
(Slower loss is Still Loss!)
-But-
Keeping track and forcing myself to "Watch It!"
Has been the "What works for me," for maintaining my loss.
I’ll eat, but know that I need to exercise a little bit more
If the numbers climb just a little.
That way,
I only make "Little" adjustments to my weekly routine.
If the "Scales Make You Discouraged?"
Then STAY OFF of Them!
But for those who Are weighing in-
Drum roll--------------------------------------
Hop your Azz up on the Scales!
How much have you lost?
Since Surgery?
Or in Pre-Op Diet?
And has the Scale moved this week for you?
If so, How Much?
My Starting Weight? – 385 +
All Time Low – 179
Me?-
186 (still in my target range!)
So, What about YOU?
Best Wishes-
Dx

I always need to try new clothes on, because when I hold them up to step into the pants/shorts, I think these will never fit and when I get them on they are too big. It is amazing! I am still using the belt I wore last winter, it is a woven leather that has holes all the way along it's length. Back before this journey started, this belt had very little that went though the buckle. Now I wraps around my side, I should get a new one, but I like the fact that it reminds me how far I have come every morning when I get dressed. I think that remembering what I was like at that start of this journey, will help keep me motivated in the long run to maintain, once I get to a weight I am happy with.

PreOp Weight.......................388
Today's Weight.....................198
Total Loss.............................190 pounds gone
Worked at mowing, weedeating, fixing around the place, the most amazing thing - I did it without stopping, about 5 hours worth - freaking amazing.
On incapacity leave from the church, I'm picking up almost weekly preaching offers - turn most down, and the ones that hear me call and want me to come and visit them but I can't because that would be considered 'ministry' and I can't do that according to the freaking rules. Oh well, me and the rugrats are having a good summer together.
331 / 321 / 245.4 / 240.6 / -4.8 / 90.4
Con 3/10 - Surg 4/7 - LW - TW - Diff. - Total
If I were to count Mrs and dog going to my mother's house to stay for a while my loss would be over 200 lbs this week but can't do that. PCP tweeked one of my anti depressants from time relase to instant release so that may make me easier to live with once again. Admit I would not have wanted to live with me this past week either!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
