That is how I feel anxios nervous scared and happy, and also wishing the unknown was over.

I have been gleeaning lots of information from these posts that I hope will help me in the future.

I posted before pictures today and I havnt seen myself like this before because I would allways be behind someone when photos are taken or hoking a little one all bent or squatting.

I see now that there is quite a bit here to melt off, and I look just like my Dad. He suffered a lot of years and I will not stand to go down that road that is a main reason to follow through and stay on program and follow you leaders.

Thanks for giving this prowler the help and encouragement to continue. And a good laugh is appreciated as well.

Good luck, August 6th will be here before you know it.  Your life is going to change for the better in so many ways.  I am just 3 months post op and can not tell you how much better I feel, both physically and mentally about myself.  It just feels good to take control of my health and life. 

Feeling anxious, scared, happy and wanting to get to the post op period is just a normal part of the process (IMHO).  Just remember that if you need anything, have any questions, we are all here.

Congrats on the date. My date is 8/05/08, I will save a seat on the losers bench. I am having an open RNY. I am currently on a semi forced liquid diet because my wife just had RNY sugery on 7/09/08. and she is on a full liquid diet for 2 weeks and a puree diet for 2 weeks after that. So in supporting her I wont cook in the house and will not eat solid foods  in front of her. I  wish I could have my surgery now I hate waiting and just want to get it under way. Well that was the fictisious date to get me all excited. The DR office called today and the real date will be nov 6 three more months out.
I am kindof bummed but that gives me three months to reduce the liver and my 6 years in AA tells me that laughter is the only exercise the liver gets so bring on the humor.
btw my human recources representative called me to the office today to let me kinow I have been on temporary reswtriction way too long , wonder what she will think whin she finds out Ill be off through the end of the year.
I started my pre surgery diet yesterday thinking I could make it to Aug 6 and the jokes on me I have to continue till Nov.
Keep me updated and I will be looking at humorous websites to jolt my liver
