This afternoon I ate 3 apple wedges minus skin of course. Just like I have just about every day this week. Ate slow and chewed to mush. 10-15 minutes later I was sitting working on my laptop when I got the urge to throw up. I ran to the bathroom and nothing came up just dry heaving for like 5 minutes.  After that I started to feeling better. Tonight I ate 2 shrimp and 2 small brussel sprouts. I was full really fast. So about 15 minutes later the same thing just happened. Nothing came up? I am chew chew chewing to a mush like I always have but it has happened twice today. WTF!?

Hi

This has not happened to me, so I am only guessing, based on what I have read.  I think it is probably pretty normal to happen once in a while.  I have heard it referred to as the "foamies".  It could be as simple as having a bug.  If it keeps up, call the doc.  I have felt crappy after eating a time or two, but have not ever come close to throwing up.  It has always passed and not developed into anything.  Hang in there and hopefully you will get some better help before the night is over.

Feel better.

If you continue to get the foamies you could possible have a stricture the tightening of the scar tissue. If so they will knock you out and do a simple dilation, I've had two. Just don't let it get to far before calling your Doctor he will probably have you return to a liquid diet until seen. Be careful because if it is a stricture it can cause you to start throwing up liquids and you will dehydrate quickly. Good luck C'ya Bob

As they have said before, it could be a stricture, and you will want to call your doctors office.  If it starts happening with water alone, you should probably go the the er of the hospital that your doctor works with. Good luck, and here's hoping it is nothing at all.
