Spousal Support after wls

Thanks for all the advice.  Julie's the best and has been incredibly supportive through this entire process.  She knows that if I need something, I probably won't ask!  I'm not sure if that's macho or stupido.

I would ask for 500 a month and she gets the kids and you get the house

Is your surgery going to be open or lap?   That makes a big difference ..

Barring any complications (isn't that always the case?) it's going to be LAP.  I know if they have to go open, I could be in for more recovery time.

I had the Sleeve ( Lap ) in Dec. You wont need much at all.you will be up and walking very shortly after you are discharged from recovery.. I would advise a recliner chair that id comfortable, the only real time i experienced discomfort was if I tried to sleep on a Flat surface..  So I slept in my comfy leather recliner, makes getting up to walk around SO much easier.
