Went cruising on some other boards tonight

I went cruising to some other boards tonight. Some of these people  are nucking futz. I mean they are the nastiest most evil blind sided foul soul stealing people I have ever seen. I could have been married to em. I have not seen people people attacked for their beliefs since the KKK riots in the 60's GEEZ I though we were supposed to support  each other in our choices not cram our choices down our throats. What happened to being an adult and being responsible for making your own decision and living with the consequences.

Why do you think I post more and more over here???

Actually, I briefly left the Ontario Forum after being pratically 'skinned alive' for letting someone who annoys me get the better of me, and posting something I probably should not have at the time.

Since then I have learned the wisdom of not discussing WLS choices, rather focusing my attention on the ultimate goal here of helping others (and being helped) lose the weight - Also, the block user feature on OH is pretty amazing as well!

I rarely even look at other forums.  If I have something positive to say to someone on another forum, then I'll send them a PM.  I've tried to be positive on the Men's forum and I've always felt that we can attract more reluctant men by showing respect for each other.  I do realize that those men who work a strong, disciplined program and lose a lot of weight are good role models.  As you know, I had an RNY, had a staple line disruption, and had a revision RNY a few years ago.  However, I battle a food addiction.  I casually saw a bariatric surgeon in a hospital parking lot and he said having a DS may help with the malabsorption.  Surprisingly, I mentioned this to one of the men who has had a DS and he said he didn't find that to be true and he kind of wished he'd get dumping syndrome to prevent him from eating undesireable foods.  Even though I had 2 RNYs, I never had dumping syndrome.  I don't mind having morbidly obese people contacting me about WLS (usually thru discussions my wife has with their wives at work) but I've become leery of just approahcing someone and talking about WLS.  I think most morbidly obese people are aware of it.  I just try to let medical professional and anyone who has any questions to check out obestiyhelp.com.

I wish one of you guys would admit to snacking on something sweet or sneaking something fried and salty so I could eat your ass up one side and down the other and strongly imply that  you'll be back at your pre-op weight by tomorrow morning due to  your overall weakness and lack of character. Then I'd feel like I was serving some purpose in this world.  I won't mention which board used to treat me this way back when in the day when I was foolish enough to admit to eating something not on the approved menu. (But it starts with an R and ends with a Y)
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.

Thanks for the warning ... When I was told by a certain member of the Ontario Forum that I should 'go to the RNY Forum already' for speaking my mind, I almost did.

However I will think twice about this as I am a man of 'overall weakness and lack of character' and I did eat at McDonalds and KFC (got major dumping doing so) while on vacation

Between staying here and liberally using the OH user blocking feature to cut out the caustic crowd on OH, life is good ...

I don't ever leave this forum or venture to other websites. There are some that are not so bad outside of OH, but I get really sick of seeing glitter graphics and Dollz crammed into massive signatures, especially when someone responds with just a LOL or some other single-word nonsense.

I assume you're talking about the R & R forum?   the "Id" of OH (or the "pressure relief value", depending on how you view it) ..   You can see why I never go there, except to delete any posts of mine that have been carried there by the staff, or to defend myself there ..  It really is antithetical to the mission of OH, which is exactly what you said it is supposed to be ..  !      (dang, pretty astute for a newbie!)
