FART: got a new nickname last week
I'm just returning from a week's sojourn with my inlaws. We're the good 'ol country type family that has big family reunions and such.
Well, we all got together and played a game where In my heat, all the guys had to run behind a screen, change into a swimsuit (leaving their clothes behind the screen in a big pile), run to the pool, do two laps, run back to the pile, and put on someone else's clothes then run to the finish line. It was really fun...until my brother in-law came out of the screen in last place declaring it wasn't fair..because NOBODY could fit in Jake's clothes! He had my jeans on one leg up to half his thigh (thank heaven's for boxer shorts), and my shirt around his neck. You just can't fit a 6'11" normally built dude into 28 jeans, and a small t-shirt
Now they call me "Slim"
Never thought that would be my nickname, but it is nice to be the smallest in a family where I was by FAR the fattest.

Great story! It is such a great feeling to be with a group of friends and realize that I am no longer the biggest person there (well, I am often the tallest, but no longer the heaviest! LOL with Joy!)
At work last week a couple of my friends started to refer to me as "Slim Jim." I am not sure that the name quite fits yet, but hopefully very soon it will be appropriate. I think it is that I look much better with clothes on, I get to see myself when I get out of the shower and know that I still have more I would like to lose. Although the changes in me are amazing already.
Keep up the great work with the changes in your life.
Jim
Great job, Jim ^5 btw, where are you and Jake's Century Club cards???
Bob looks like you're about to join the Club, too .. ! ^5
I wonder if we can come up with our own MF style Club Cards, btw . Something a little more "macho" looking than the ones with hearts, butterflies, etc. (maybe a pickup truck on them? a rifle? a fishing rod? a can of beer? lol)
