I'm posting 3 hours early (it's 9PM here in Louisiana) but wanted to get everyone to post up your results for June in the 50 mile per month challenge.   How did you do?   Did you meet the goal of 50 miles this month?

I know I met my goals, but just barely. I spent more time with the weights this last month than I did running. But on a positive note, I added about 8 miles of bike riding 4 times a week going to work, and I was trying to add in a weekend ride as well. I am going to rededicate July and really focus on what I have done, eaten, and documented. I think I have gotten a little lax the last couple weeks. The chart will be a good thing for me to help stay focused. So I am setting a goal of 50 miles run, 120 miles biked, and at least 8 400 meter swims Scott

A future triathlete in the making!! Nicely done, Scott. I might have to try my hand at swimming but I always sink like a rock. Boner

Yeah I'm not nearly as bouyant as I used to be.  I guess that fat was good for something. Scott

If someone buys a push mower with the intention of getting exercise walking, does that count.  I am counting it and had my biggest month since Jan 72 miles.  Without the lawn mowing: 69

I hear lawn mowing is going to become a new Olympic sport so you're just ahead of the curve, Sheriff!! What's your marathon schedule looking like these days? Keep up the great work.  Boner

I would be good at the lawn mowing.  Lord knows, I do enough of it. The marathon schedule is a little light right now.  Disney is the only official one that I am signed up for.  I am thinking about Hartford, CT in October but I would have to miss and Army football game.  There is always the Phili marathon in Nov and Hyannis, MA in Feb.  Hopefully that one will be out because of my P.S.  I told them to schedule it after I get back from Disney in Jan.  Fingers crossed.

Be thinkin' I put in over 800 cycling miles in June including the training leading up to and the Ride the Rockies itself. Had to be my biggest mileage month ever. For July, I'm hoping to get in 500 miles including the 125 miles in the Triple Bypass on July 12.  Congratulations to all you guys who are "workin' it." Keep pushing on, fellas.....it only get better and better.  Boner

I closed out last month with 62 miles walked- And 36 miles running!!! A Grand total of 98!! If I had thought about it along the way I'd have pushed another 2 to make it an even 100.... But, maybe for next month... I've had some extra free time for the last 6 weeks And have been hitting the local waking/jogging trail more frequently. Hope I can keep up some of it When my schedule gets hectic again... Best Wishes- Dx
