Feels Like I ate A Cow today!

One year out exactly.  Below goal, but sometimes it feels like I eat too much before I'm satisfied. Maybe I'm imagining it, but seem to be able to hold an awful lot of food for having a 1-2 oz. pouch. It must stretch alot while you eat. Dry, dense meat is one of the few things I can't eat much of.. and it makes me feel ****ty after eating it.

I have the same issue Beast, but not gaining any weight either. Foods that fall into the "semi-liquid" and "goes straight through the stoma" categories seem to be increasing. Veggies and meat together or meat alone hold me for a while. I'm not sure that they don't downplay the malabsorption side a little. A lot of the food I eat seems to come out undigested. Oh well, I would like to save money on food instead of wasting it, but the main thing is I'm not gaining any weight and can lose whenever I want.

Best Wishes,

Dave

You're so right Dave!  I wish more guys would give their experiences on this. After all, we don't want to gain the weight back!  Doesn't anyone else ever wonder how you can eat as much as you can sometimes? 1 year out of surgery and over please!

You might be eating too fast. I know I am a shoveler and when I slow down I get full. The body realizes it is full. I have the same problem with dense meat as you do.
