There was one incision lap port on my right side that I swear that my surgeon had tied so tight that it almost took care of any future plastic surgery I'd need! It took me a couple of weeks before I stopped walking around like Quasimodo in the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Just be sure to keep taking your pain meds, and keep ahead of the pain. It will get better!

I had problems with my abd surgery for Cancer and for my RNY.
I just couldn't find a comfortable positon to lay down. I ended up dosing up the pain meds at night and sleeping in the recliner for a couple nights after the RNY.
The cancer surgery was much worse, it was an open surgery, and I spent a couple weeks sleeping in the recliner.
Stay up on your pain meds. You might also try finding one of the large body pillows. When I got back into bed, having that to hug/squich/prop myself up with was a big benefit and made the nights more comfortable.
