I've posted a few pictures of the Ride the Rockies cycling event in my profile. Give it a look see if you're interested in knowing what a 7-day romp through the Rockies on a bicycle is like. The Ride the Rockies was my number one goal after WLS, a goal which quite frankly I thought was unattainable when I hovered near 500 pounds. All I can say is the experience exceeded my wildest expectations.  "THANK GOD FOR WLS." Boner

Great pics! You look like you've lost more weight or at least fat. Looking lean.

Best Wishes,

Dave

Boner this is an amazing story.  It is amazing to think that a guy that had issues with his weight could be riding a bike so far and up hill to boot!  You are an inspiration to all of us newbies as to what we can achieve if we work hard enough.

It's nice to have you back in the locker room again.

I've never been much motivated to take up bike riding. But those pictures look pretty cool. I guess if I could get used to having 25 cubic inches of vinyl covered foarm rubber and aluminum stuck up my ass for hours on end, I might go for it.

The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.
