Thank you for the link to the WLS research paper, Doug. I printed it off and took it home to read tonight. It's "fresh WLS reseach meat" which is particularly helpful given all that is unknown regarding us here "WLS men lab rats."  Boner

You are welcome. I find it helpful because I get conflicting info from some docs, etc. This article at least comes from multiple bariatric and metabolic experts.

Good one Paul. We get pretty much the same results on protein food sources which is my primary concern. I always take the position that any fresh or frozen fruits or veggies are "good for me" and pretty much eat as much of them as I want. Fruits are high in sugar so I do moderate them somewhat.   I don't eat many grain based foods like bread, cereal, potatoes and the like so when I do, I just focus on whole grains stuff.  Boner
