APPROVED!!!!!

All It has been great day ! After three denails I finally got approved. It only took a third letter from my doctor and a call from the benefits manager of my company. As soon as the hospital gets the written approval they will schedule a surgery date. The only thing that is going to throw a wrench in the works is my wife has a surgery date for RNY on 7/09/08 and the surgeron has a set time between surgeries when couples have the surgery together. not sure how long it is but she is schedule to go back to work in 4-6 weeks. so it shouldn't be to long of a wait. I am excited and my wife is scared to death of her surgery I would go in a minute. It won't be to long before I am on the losers bench.

OOOOHHHHHHHHHHH NNNNOOOOOOOOO  MR BILL, Congratz. No wrenches your approval si good for awhile I got mine in March and just had surgery early June. Thats was the earliest it would fit into the schedule. It gives you more time to prepare

I am so happy for you, it should go very quickly now that you are approved.  I think you will really appreciate the fact that both your wife and yourself are doing this together.  I had my surgery on April 10th and my wife's surgery was 3 weeks later.  I felt fine about 1 week post op and it was nice having someone who understood what I was going through.  We are also eating the same foods, so I really don't feel that I am missing out on anything.  Good luck to both of you with surgery.  If either of you have a question about the couple thing feel free to send me a message.

Congradulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THERE IS HOPE. Im at the starting line now. Have to do the 6mo sprvsd diet..... It will go by fast but not as fast as I'd like...
