Hello lads.... Just thought I'd proudly proclaim that this am, my scales said 197! That's a loss of 207 from my biggest weight of 404 lbs. I'm in ONEDERLAND....like I was back in the 60's WoooooooooooHoooooooooooo! I am so very very happy with WLS and what it's given me...my life! Thanks to each and everyone here....your help and support were not only appreciated, but needed too and the "love" I feel for this forum is a rock I can lean on daily! Oh, one small point....IMHO, the term ONEDERLAND to me is somewhat tuna town-ish.... Whynt' some of our more creative lockeroom types come up with a Mens forum term instead....like a FART is a WOW.... Guys? Jim

Way to go Jim.  207 lbs gone forever!  Now that is a true FART!!  Congratulations!!!!!!!!! I can't think of another name for onederland either.  But I know it is a terrific accomplishment that you have reached.  You are an inspiration to all of us here in the Locker Room.

Jim, Congratulations!  It's so encouraging to me to see that you and the other guys out that far are still working the tool.   Keep up the great work and enjoy your new set of numbers! John

First, congratulations on reaching a milestone that I'm guessing for most of your life must have seemed like a total pipedream. Second, if you don't mind, I'm kinda using you as navigation tool for what might be in my future. We look to be about the same age and you look to be a fairly tall guy also, so.......if you don't mind answering a few questions, I'd appreciate it. You're answers will help me chart my course and figure out what is within the reasonable realm and what is not. 1) How tall are you? 2) What is the lowest you ever weighed pre-op but after you were 25 years old? 3) What did you weigh when you were 18? 4) What was your goal weight when you were pre-op? 5) What is your avg calorie count these days, and if you remember that far back, at 6 months, and 12 months? The answers to those questions for me are 1) 6'2", 2) 233 lbs, 3) 210 lbs, 4) 210 lbs (don't know whether this is realistic or not) 5) I'm 7 months out and am pretty consistantly around 1850 per day right now. I could probably cut this to 1250-1400 by being more careful with my choices without causing me undue hardship.  Any feedback I can get from a crusty old vet will be appreciated.

Maybe if we could get Arnold Schwarzenegger to say it a few times in front of the cameras...Like he pronounces "California"... it will become an acceptable term!!  Weigh to go.  Brian

In the summer of '67 I was still 5 years away from having my first pubic hair......so uhhhh....I missed out on all that. I'm surprised to find out you're 11 years older than me. You look to be in your late 40's rather than your late 50's. Either that or I look to be in my late 50's even though I'm only 48.
