I just hit my 6 month out from surgery mark and even though I didnt hit the goal I wanted too,  Im at 233lbs which is down 125lbs since my surgery. I also posted some camparison pix in my profile but the one below is compared to the night before surgery. This is crazy and I still got a lot of work to do but others have motivated me on this site and if this helps one person than all the better. Keep up the losing fellas!

Congrats. Keep up the good work.

Work is for those who don't know how to fish.

Thanks DX, your posts and information has definitely helped me along the way. Seeing someone long term like you that is still on top of their weight loss motivates me to always try and do better.

Miko,

You don't say what your goal for 6 months post is was, but the change in you is amazing.  Looking at your profile it seems that you have really changed your life, you have become active, much stronger and you appear to be on track.

I know that at two months out I wish I was much closer to my goal, we have a lot of living to make up that our weight has stolen from us and I think we really want to be that person that we paint in our mind as what we will look like when we reach our goal.

Just keep up the good work, you really look great and I think you will meet all your goals very soon.

Thanks for the encouragement Jim. Looking at my before picture really motivates me to not go back to that lifestyle because I love the new life my WLS has given me. Actually I wanted to be down to 225 when I reached 6 months out from surgery which would have been a loss of 133lbs so I wasnt too far off. Dont get me wrong I love where I am at but I think I puposely set the bar high so that I would really pu**** I know no matter what I can always do better. And I dont think this past Father's Day weekend I spent In Las Vegas helped me out too much either. LOL
