I did my hill work on the treadmill. Walked for 400m at 6% grade then stepped it up to 5.5 mph for the first 400m and up to 6 mph for 800m. Backed it down to 5.5 and 0% grade for 400m, then back to 6% and 6 mph for 800m, back down to 5.5 and 0% for 400m and then back up to 6% and 6.5 for 400m. Back down to 0% and 5.5 for 400m and then finished off the running with 800m at 7 mph 0% grade, then slowly worked my way down to a walk for 400m.
Oh yeah, walked 2 miles at lunch also. pan head

Worked upper body light weights, walked 45 min. Unloaded and reloaded and unloaded in New Orleans humidity had me sweating pretty good so didn't push any more exercise. Next!

Went for a walk to the beach with the wife and dog. Couldn't stay since there is STILL a rotting seal corpse stinking the place up. On a positive note, there were about a half-dozen bald eagles playing in the breeze. We got to watch them practice aerial combat. Awesome.

I lifted with my 16 y/o daughter this morning. I'm pumped that she wants me to lift with her all summer to help her become a better basketball player in the fall. We're still pretty basic right now as neither of us are in very good weight training shape yet. Did 3x10 on bench, dumbell curls, lat pull downs, and upright rows. Pretty good 30 minutes worth of work. I'm gonna try to get 5 miles of walking in tonight after it cools down, but my ankles have been starting to bother me after 3 so I haven't pushed it.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.

Well Clapton it's something we started to motivate and keep us accountable. It stands for "I Did Get Off My Butt" we try to post each day, who ever gets motivated first starts the post. I hope you'll join in and go ahead and start the post. You can explain your workout or if you don't have time just kick in IDGOMB we see who it is enough said. Welcome aboard. C'ya Bob
