OT MENs Forum
I am new to the Forum, to obesityhelp in general. During the last week or two there have been attempts by two women to openly enter the discussion here. My question: is this normal? Aren't there enough Forums here and elsewhere for women to talk to men? On a different note, I had my RNY on May 19th. I live in Washington state and have Group Health insurance. I am going to do my best to not just be a lurker.
Is it normal?
Only for the ones that are too stupid to understand what "Men's Forum" means.
Usually the type that in person you would just shake your head in disbelief and walk away from.
On to better things, congrats on the surgery.
From the looks of your ticker you are already kicking ass and taking names.
Great job, and keep up the good work.
Don't lurk, jump on in and if you have any questions along the way, be sure to ask.
There is a wealth of knowledge on this board.
Oh and Welcome to the forum.
I am just south of you in Oregon.
Welcome Brent,
Don't worry about women posting. We have guys here who protect our turf from the rude posters who just butt in. And sometimes women post briefly to keep us informed about some guy's operation or to ask us to reach out to a brother or boyfriend or something.
This is a great resource, so take advantage of it.

Welcome aboard!
Congrats on the surgery!
Women lurking here - can't stop 'em.
Women posting here - unless it is to pass on info about one of the guy's surgery or medical condition, or similar items, it is totally not cool! We don't like the chick-flick, dating service, "oh, i miss my chocolate bob-bons" drama.
