Okay, first, for those of you who eat these flat bread folding things, do you eat the bread or just the topping aka frozen/microwave. Second, what else have you eaten and tolerated in the first year.  Thank you thank you thank you for food suggestions.  Anything from Taco Bell or Wendys or other fast food/deli items.  BobM. P.S.  For those who are interested.  I'm still on the wet vac, however, that which once was 4" x 2.5cm x 15" long is now 1 1/2" at the widest x .7cm at the deepest and 11" long.  Freaking amazing, I am so looking forward to having NO TUBES in me!

Tuna or egg salad with alittle salt and pepper.  Add some low fat mayo and Mt. Olive relish with Splenda.  Also Wendy's Chili,  Peanut butter, frozen shrimp in the microwave unfrozen for 20-30 seconds, cooked spinach, cooked vegetables, chicken or turkey vegetable soup.  Hope your doing better.  Brian

Hey My Brother... something I used to post for the newbies, on the soft stage...it's kinda a faux lasagana... take a tub of cottage cheese salt pepper crack an egg or 2 in it add some parmeseagan cheese stir it all up, and put iit in a baking dish and bake it till it's firm...about 350 degrees smear some Prego on top it's kinda like eating the inside out of a Ravioli

Wendy's---Chili/Grilled chicken to go wraps/baked potato Taco Hell---Pintos and cheese/soft taco/been burrito McDonald's---whatever wraps they have (breakfast burrito/chipotle chicken wrap, etc) Sonic---stay away from here, so far all I've had is coughing fits, too greasy You get the idea....just try foods not smothered in bread and grease and you should be fine!

Cottage cheese with many things mixed into it. i.e. yogurt, s&p, tuna, sauteed veggies, anything you can imagine.

I don't do the whole fast food thing anymore, so I can't help you out there. All I can say is the apples from McDonalds when the family stopped there, and milk...you can always find milk at those places.

Keep protein bars with you at all times. They're WAY easy to use when you're hungry. Think Thin, South Beach, the white one's at Costco are fantastic. Many many more, jus****ch out for sugars.

Also nuts (dry roasted peanuts, plain almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumkin seeds, roasted soy nuts) and beef jerkey is the car can be handy.  Be sure you chew them real good.  Many of the nuts you can get at the health foods store.  You don't need to buy alot to start out with.  Brian
