Congrats! Just be careful not to get hung up on the weight dropping because we all hit walls sometimes. I can remember weeks where not a single pound fell off and I thought I wasn't going to lose anything more. Now as I look back, the weight loss has been very slow and steady beyond the first month but the key has been "steady". The first month I went from 290-255 and then the following two months I've dropped another 15 pounds.
To regular folks 15 pounds in two months would be great but it can be somewhat disappointing to a post-op. I've come to terms with my weight loss and I just stay focused on eating right, exercising and letting the weight worry about itself.
Whatever you do, don't get on the scale every day. Space out your weigh-ins to 1-2 weeks at the most.
