Just got the ball rolling for Jan 09 P.S.

At my 2.5 year follow up apt, I turned in some pictures which will get me started with my Hernia repair and skin removal.  I told the surgeon's wife (the lady that runs the office) that without insurance coverage, I can't do it.   She kind of shrugged it off and asked, "you have state insurance, right".  Apparantly it's pretty good insurance so I am hopeful.  I have always thought that the hernia would just help with approval for the skin removal but it is really starting to hurt as of late.  It has always been itchy but I have taken that as comming with the territory.   Anyway,  I want to do it after I get home from the Goofy Challange at Disney in Jan of 09.  That will give me a solid month off of work.  I think that I can handle that. http://images.obesityhelp.com/uploads/profile/318547/albums/ 1442/IMG_6031.JPG

good luck ole' bud...I just had mine done Monday...they took off over 30 LBS of loose skin. I'm just 15 months out from my RNY. I just wanted to get the ball rolling so I didn't have the hassel with the insurance. Well surprise, surprise....here I am trussed up tighter than a Thanksgiving turkey. I'll be praying for you. Dave
