Hamstrung

Hey guru's. I'm looking for a nice hamstring workout to do at home with either resistance bands, or dumbells. I did my straight-leg dead lifts this morning, then for my second hamstring exersize I did this thing where you lay on the floor with your calves resting on a chair. Then you lift up your butt. It looked like a good one to try, but it ended up putting undue strain on my lower back. Not the good kind, either.

What are your hamstring work-outs?

Do the same exercise as the feet on the chair but keep your feet on the floor.  Less stress.  After you have mastered it, do the same thing with lifting your ass in the air and then left one foot off the ground for a second at a time alternating for 8-10 reps.
