Well fellow losers I am back at home and feeling great, So far no problems. Surgery day was a little rough; the first hour was the worst. I thought an alien was going to bust out of my chest. Dam GAS!  I walked the nurses crazy. They took turns walking me. I walk fast and was not going to slow down. I sipped my water like I was told and enjoyed my first meal of broth about 12 hours after surgery. The JP tube was an experience. No real pain but what a weird feeling.

Just finished my walk at home and have to walk every two hours up until 8:00pm then start back up when I get up about 6am.

Thanks to everyone here for keeping me on track with my liquid diet, I am sure that is one of the reasons I did so well. God Bless you all for being there.

Glad to know things went well for you and glad to know you are doing well. Lucky you that the gas only lasted one day, for me it was almost 1 week.
