The Sunday Weekly Weigh-In
May 25th!

... just hitting your first stall?
It happenes to many....
Scan back over the last months of this weekly post,
And you’ll get a fairly clear picture of the fact
that there isn’t a "Typical" progress,
Just massive, persistent, overwhelming - PROGRESS!

Yes, using the scales can make some crazy,
(Slower loss is Still Loss!)
-But-
Keeping track and forcing myself to "Watch It!"
Has been the "What works for me," for maintaining my loss.
I’ll eat, but know that I need to exercise a little bit more
If the numbers climb just a little.
That way,
I only make "Little" adjustments to my weekly routine.
If the "Scales Make You Discouraged?"
Then STAY OFF of Them!

But for those who Are weighing in-
Drum roll--------------------------------------

Hop your Azz up on the Scales!

How much have you lost?
Since Surgery?
Or in Pre-Op Diet?

And has the Scale moved this week for you?
If so, How Much?

My Starting Weight? – 385 +
All Time Low – 179

Me?-
185.5 -Saturday Night Weight....
Back up at top end of my range.
Friends in town for the long week end And it's been "snack central'" at my place....
So, What about YOU?

Best Wishes-Mike Wazowski

Good Morning Fellas, Feelin' good this week. My family and I are considering moving back to southern Oklahoma. We moved to Colorado a year ago to make a fresh start. Well, its not exactly working out like we thought.  After over a year post-grad from college, I still have not been able to find a job in my field. It freakin' sucks being a college grad and working for Wal-Mart. Descent company, fairly good people, crappy wage, easy job, just not a college grad type career. My wife is also sick to death of fast food. She has been a restaurant manager for over 15 years. Great money, horrible job. I'm thinking either another bachelor's, possibly education, or a master's degree. Either way, I think I could do it in under two years. Dawn has all her gen ed's done, so she could complete a degree in the same amount of time. At this point, we are not looking make ****loads of money, just be happy. We both love kids, and teachers are always in demand, just makes sense to us to look into education. We have looked into schools here in Colorado, they are too expensive. The college I graduated from in Okla. costs about a third of what it costs here. Also my wifes parents live there, and they can help with the kids. I didn't mean to turn this into a rant of sorts.  Things are steady on the weight front. For the first time in my life, my weight is stable, and where I want it at the same time.  Heaviest: 352 This morning: 213 My range seems to be 211-215, I've been there for months. Ron

It'll be cool when I start seeing that steady part. I've been sleeved too but in two weeks I have gone 12 days without recording a weight loss, and two days with dramatic loss.

Two weeks out now, 0 lbs lost in the last week.

I've been diligent about 800 calories and 80 grams of protein every day last week, and worked out 3 of those days (25 minutes on the stair stepper yesterday, phew). I think it's just the week two stall but I hope my calories aren't too high. Hard to imagine 800 calories is too high but I see so many others who struggle to get 500 in, I struggle to keep it below 800. Liquid calories go down soooooo easy.
