I haven't tried the cherry flavor, that may be tolerable but I trust tried the natural flavor as they said you can mix it into soups and other foods. Sounds great, it's already liquid and unlike other liquids this one is a complete protein source.

So I add it to my bean with bacon soup and have this funky baked beans taste. What the hell? Why would this taste sweet, it's unflavored.

Quick run to read the ingredients.....Sucralose! Idiots. Unflavored does not mean sweetened. Now I have a bottle of funky tasting liquid I don't want to drink along but that I can't mix with much. Maybe if I water it down. Any non sweet food will be ruined, and if I add it to something sweet it will further sweeten it making it too sweet. Why couldn't they just leave the splenda out with the flavoring?

That's disappointing because it mixes in easy and besides the sweet there was no noticeable flavor, if they left the spelnda out I would be sold on this stuff, but now the search continues.

I did do some unflavored whey powder with my soup today, half a scoop (10 grams of protien) was tolerable but no way you could put a full scoop in there. I thought it was edible but my girlfriend tasted it and immediately judged it inedible.

I think you will find that you will become an ingredients checker or even better, an ingredients inspector!  Nick
