Don't (Do?) Stand So Close to Me.
Guys,
(FART or post-op complication?)
Any tips on dealing with temptation?
I was leaving a certain presentation venue recently when a young lass (less than half my age, but of age), who had hung around to be the last out of class, decided to stroke my forearm before she bid me farewell.
Like the Police song says:
Temptation frustatration so bad it makes him cry
It's not only ones I know and work with. Girls will stop me in the hall just to flirt with me.
Maybe time to go see Roxanne?
If you were like me with no kids, very little sense of having aged or feeling/ sensing my own age. How would you deal with the temptation?
Thanks,
Dave
***** always comes with a price tag. The hell of it is trying to figure out what the cost is going to be and trying to decide if it's worth it or not.
In my case, I decided a long time ago that if I ever took a chance on wrecking my marriage, that it would be with someone who was way, way, way the **** out of my league. Which means, with a probability of 99.99%, that I'll never face that dilema. Of course I have kids, and so that ways heavily on the "not gonna chance it" side of the equation.
Other than that, I got nuthin.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.
Dave, I feel your pain. I am hit on constantly at my gym and at the beach I hang out at, both by women and men. If my wife only knew, she probably would'nt let me out the door. That or would accompany me everywhere I went.
I go with it, but eventually I let on that I'm married just to break the spiral. One of these days I might get my wedding ring re-sized so I can wear it again. Then maybe I wouldnt be hit on as much.
Or maybe I'll just keep it buried in my drawer.
Be well on the other side of the world.
