Nutty Question
Back before my pouch got to where it could handle such a wide variety of foods, I ate peanut butter on reduced fat Ritz crackers with all-fruit spread several days a week. I don't eat much of it anymore simply because I can eat almost anything I want to and there are to many other ways to get protein without consuming so many fat calories. It makes a nice change of pace though. I wouldn't be afraid to eat you some if you're having a craving for it, but I'd be careful that it doesn't become a daily. It really doesn't take much PB to start racking up some serious cals.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.

it's not bad, I like it mixed with a protein drink or use it when cooking.
I have also eaten it plain and while it doesn't taste quite as rich, it does still give that peanut butter taste.
calories and fat are greatly reduced in this stuff. Less than half of regular peanut butter.

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!
PB2 rocks.
Skippy also makes a great reduced fat version of both thier creamy and chunky peanut butter that tastes pretty good.
Watch out for additives, though - a lot of PB will add sugar, and that's not good.
I haven't had any issues with peanut butter at all, and have some a couple times a week, usually as an evening snack on some Orowheat Light whole wheat bread.
You and I are pretty close as far as surgery dates and I've been eating small amounts of reduced fat peanut butter for about 3 weeks now. I LOVED peanut butter prior to surgery and was known to go through a about a 32oz jar in a week (or less). I've had no issues with it post surgery either. I just try to remember moderation.
Oh man yeah you needed the surgery! I did too though. My poison was Raising Cane's chicken fingers (exclusive to the south I think). I'd eat there probably 3 times a week at least with each box of chicken having at or around 2000 calories. I finally tried some peanut butter today just for fun. I mean I'm not addicted to it or whatever but I have just been so afraid of dumping till I just won't try anything new hardly. Thanks for the advice though! And that's to everyone as well.
