The Sunday Weekly Weigh-In
Hi all,
Almost a year to the day. Wednesday will be 1 year since surgery. I will see the surgeon on Thursday. I saw my regular doctor for my annual physical about a week ago and just got back the bloodwork. Everything looks great! My doctor said that my change is probably the the most dramatic he's seen. Now, I know I've still got a long ways to go (not with losing the weight but more about taking everything I've learned and making sure I stick to it). There's no way I want to ever forget what I've come from. I have been successful to date and now I need to saty successfull for the long term. Thanks to everyone here for all of the support, information, humor, and advice.
Highest - 363
Date of Surgery - 346 (5/21/07)
Last Week - 167.5
Today - 168
Congratulations on reaching the one year mark all in one piece. And congratulations for FARTing on your doc. That's something you don't get to do every day. According to my calculator you weigh 46.3% of your highest weight. I'd damned sure like to think I could reach that at my one year mark.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.
Sup Fellas, My 5 month mark is this Weds and here are my stats so far: 4/19/07: Consult and highest weight = 390lbs 12/19/07: Date of surgery = 358lbs Today: 248lbs So I have lost 110lbs since my surgery and 142lbs since my highest weight. Its mind blowing when I think about it. In my last meeting with my trainer, I gained 3.5lbs of muscle and lost 11 pounds of fat in 1 month. Recently I just started running and mountain biking and hopefully that will take me to the next level. Thanks for the info and support from all the guys on here. Great job everyone!
