Success - It's all your fault!
I had my 6 month post-op check-up on Monday. The doc was very pleased and I couldn't be happier. They took enough blood to supply a small country, but all of the results were very good, or better. He was very pleased with all my levels and my weight. Monday was exactly six months from surgery and I have lost 127 pounds. I have gone from a 60" waist to a 48" and from a 5XL shirt to a 2XL. I can even see body parts without having to employ a psychic or mirror.
I feel I have worked hard, but could never have done any of it if it wasn't for this board. The tips, advise, experience sharing have made it much easier and a blessing. Dx's and Steve's posts are like my new scientific bible. The daily exercise info keeps me thinking the right way. The humor of some of the regulars is usually enough to make me **** myself. But in the end, it works because we have all been through the same stuff, met the same nice people and the same butt-holes in life, and have someplace to go to blow off steam, get an answer or get kicked in the ass!
Thanks guys. Any small success that I have had is because of my family and because of you.
Thanks
Lou

Great success Lou,
Your next high risk is in entering the clothes ***** phase.
Once you find that your new size is more in line with the fashionable clothing you can buy off the rack, you will go though a phase where you are drawn to buy more and more clothes just because you can.
I suggest shopping at the Goodwill stores as much as possible, it much cheaper as you build up a summer and winter wardrobe.
Have fun,

Kickin ass and takin names Lou.
Keep up the good work.
I had my six month check up on Monday too.
Did the blood work that day, so no results yet.
Going to post my own results and thoughts of this 6 month whirlwind when I get word back.
Short of the labs though, all is well and the doc is very pleased with my progress.
He (I think jokingly) said he was going to make me his new poster child for the program.
I added a new pic of me and my doc on my profile page if anyone is interested.
