Great question. I had never figured this until today. I've lost 144# and 18 inches in the waist, which equals to 8# per inch. 346 / 202#

I am now between a 48 and 50 and have lost 125#. I also fall in that 9 to 10 pounds per inch catagory. Interesting question!!
