Quick Question ....

From 58”W pants To 36”W pants- 385 lbs to 185 lbs. 22” Waist lost 200lbs lost 1” lost for every 9.0909090909090909090909090909091 lbs lost Maybe it’s a “range?” Interesting question. I would assume the ratio Would be all over the place Depending on muscularity and height and build, etc… I'm 6'1" Best Wishes- Dx
this is not really a good indicator as we lightweights lose in total what the heavyweights lose in the first three months. so it might take a year for a guy my size to lose 100 pounds but be near goal while someone who has to lose 200 or more will get the first 100 off real fast. i go with the best indicator being Dx's percentage post. that makes more sense but still, this is interesting to see the range and talk about the inches. i don't really care what my weight is, it's all about inches for me anyway. i've been lifting heavier so i weigh more now but still have the same waist. so far!
From a 44" waist to a 34" waist with 99 pounds lost. That would equate to 1" per 9.9 lbs. However, I can tell you that the equation is not correct based on actual change in waist size as I loss the 99 pounds. Also another factor that most of probably don't admit is that at our highest weights we were not wearing our pants at our waist or at least where we wear them now. I now I wear mine higher than I did pre-wls. Bill
