(cont.)   I don't know the med malp laws in your state and it doesn't sound like this was an emergency situation or action taken by emergency medical personnel anyway in regard to your husband's endoscopy, so hopefully you can still get 'em .. !

Good advice has already been given.  I was on the table, IV's in and everything when they discovered that some cardio tests had not been done and called my surgery off. It was a shock and a downer for sure.  But after I thought about it, I decided "everything happens for a reason" and it wasn't meant for me to have the surgery that day.  But I also decided I was more determined than ever to have my surgery!  2 weeks later I did have it and everything went smoothe as could be. Now just 9 days post-op I have lost 18.5 pounds!!  Tell your hubby about the Men's Forum and that we would love to have him join us.

You are awesome for trying to get your husband to have the surgery first of all. Don't pressure him into anything, but after awhile and he sees how hard it is to lose enough weight to make a difference he'll see the light. Curly Sue, you just need to be the supportive wife and friend and point him to our board, we'll set him straight lol. I hate being a patient in the hospital, but this surgery is nothing but good. Even if you have complications it's worth the risk I would most definitely do it all over again!

Hey guys! Thanks for your replies!!! It really means a lot that you are all so helpful. It helps a lot to get the men’s perspective. I am new to OH and I guess I was unaware that there was SO much tension between some of the guys and some of the women in  town... While I do not want to be lumped into a category of men-hating "tuna town" skanks, I find it incredibly hilarious that's our nickname. I did not start a new thread in the men’s forum to post my cute lil picture I found for you guys... simply because this is YOUR place. To be honest- I have not, nor will I, read your forums- those are for you guys. It wouldn't be right and you sure as hell would get a chunk chewed outta your asses if you posted senseless bs in ladies' forums (depending on the content lol) (at least that's the impression I get.) In closing, again, I REALLY appreciate the time you all took to reply about my hubby. I am talking through with him the kind words of wisdom y'all shared. Each message stood out to me and I will be utilizing each strategy. Take care boys!
