I did it

Last week I made it to Onederland.  Yesterday I hit another milestone.  I started this journey at 345, and I weighted 195 yesterday, all day long. This AM I weight 195.8 pounds, so I have officially lost 150 pounds on my journey.  I've tried my best to do everthing right, but have "strayed" once in a while. My vitamins company sent me some samples of a new energy booster last week, and I tried them over the weekend. Used them for 3 days, lost 4 pounds.  I went to my first support meeting of the month and made my 150 pound weight loss announcement. I feel great.  I gain knowledge from the forums on OH, one other forum site, my support groups, and Internet research. There is always information available to assist you on your journey. I'm a happy camper today. DAVE

Sharing good information, and keeping my mouth shut about rumors or questionable information has always been one of my mottos. I'm always to share information to help others. I started in a hobby / business of raising Ragdoll cats some 30 years ago. No Internet, other breeders "guarded" information, limited resources on the subject. So Iearned a lot of things through "the school of hard knocks".  In fact, I even compiled this 30 years of knowledge in a book called Cattery Management that I offer to other new breeders on the Internet. 290 pages of information , trying to explain things that will and won't work in raising cats. So, this has been my practice for a long time. I'm happy to share to make life easier for others in the same journey. DAVE

Dave, You are an inspiration!  Jim P.s.  I never really thought of a cat as a good pet, until we got our 2 Ragdolls, they are wonderful and so loving.
