Pics on Profile - Check out the pictoral journey.....
Hey guys. Well, it took me a while to figure out, but i finally got some pictures up for everyone to check out. It sure is great to have a photo diary to document the past year - I highly recommend it for those of you just starting out.... I wasn't sure i wanted to post the pics up here, but I decided to do it for the simple fact that I remember how important these types of pictures/stories were to me pre-op, and in the beginning of my weight loss journey last year.....
Hang in there guys - it's a lot of hard work, but the pay-offs are waiting for you. Chuck
oh hell, it's easy to look like me! notice no head shots? just cut and paste like i do.....lol. i could put any pic in my profile that way! actually it looks like i have enough hair on me to be a bear myself. just wish i could get it to grow on the top of my head!
my g/f keeps reminding me i have an unfair advantage on you guys. i get to work out everyday due to my schedule. so a bit of a cheat here. yet if you can carve out just an hour a day then believe me, anything is possible in a gym. just keep your diet going, do some cardio and lift. no secret really. just commitment. oh, i'm no poster boy now. i cheat and eat the wrong stuff all the time. i just get back in the saddle though. so don't kill yourself over it. be realistic and try your best. it's amazing to me as well when i see some of the pics these guys post. i mean they are really fit! you already proved you can do it. now settle down for the long haul.
maybe time to start thinking of an int. weight lifting program. if you want to see dramatic changes you're going to have to change your program. let me know, i have a few routines and links to site that can help you with that. you look totally awesome dude! keep up the good work and thanks for the compliment......carbonblob

in some circles, you'd be referred to as a "muscle bear"- but, this isn't really the board to go into specifics there - plus we don't want your g/f to get jealous LOL.........
I've really surprised myself with how much i like going to Yoga, and also was shocked how much of a workout it is. But, i do want to incorporate some weight training here soon, so I'll be asking for some pointers along the way.....
Thanks again for the words of encouragement....
Chuck
Thanks BearMan...... My Avatar was a pic of a big Grizzly Bear up until this week - that's why CB was giving me a hard time (with lots of bear-type affection, of course)..... Sounds like you have started your work-outs at a great pace, keep it up. And, thank you for the compliment. It feels great to be 270 pounds lighter.......
