What Happends next?
you will get to speak with a surgeon who will perform the surgery and given a list of things that you will need to do. You may have to have a cardic clearance a throid work up you may have to do a diet and lose some weight a sleep study, etc... you will also be told of the risks of surgery but dont get scared read the post on fear it is very good. The biggest thing you need to do is ask questions on what you need to do to get approved for the surgery not only of your doctor but call and ask the insurance company as well. Document everything who you spoke to what they said and when they said it. I personally recommend calling your insurance two or three times, if you insurance company is anything like mine they will tell you something different every time. and what ever you do don't give up.
Good luck

There are multiple "paths" to approval.
The chart at bariatric edge gives a fairly good map.
