A question for the guys with tattoos

Hey guys,

I was wondering what effect the weight loss has had on your tattoos?  Have you done anything to help keep them looking good as you loose weight?

Don't have any tats, but reminds me of a standup comic, whose name I've long since forgotten. He was questioning why women have butterflies tattooed on their hooters. "When you turn 60, that thing will turn into Mothra."

Mine still look pretty good.  I have lost 170 pounds so far.  They have shrunk a litle bit, but they are on my arms and my legs, I don't have as much fat there, so I don't think they will deform much.  They do look a little different, just because of where they are positioned. I'm waiting until I'm done losing and maybe for plastic surgery, then I will get a commemerative tattoo. Scott

I've got 5 or six... they get old and faded after several years anyway.  You just need to get more tats later.

Hi Jim, I have many tattoos, hence the name ..Inky. Strangely my tattoos look better now than they did when I was , well, a fat ******* no offense to any fat *******s,lol! The colors are tight, I also have to explain that thank God, I don't have loose skin where my tatts are, only due to the fact that I worked hard not to. Now, tatts on loose skin may pose a problem. If you check my pics you might see that they lookin good. How many tatts do you have? Any pics? I'd like to see. .... Inky

Tattoos are a symbol of organized crime in Japan. If I got a tat, my wife might leave. Hence a tit for a tat.

Ah yes the Yakuza, good bunch of guys...a little too serious but good guys nonetheless.

I got my first tatoo around 8 months out of surgery.   After losing an additional 100 or so pounds it really had no effect.   I only have one right now and I probably will only be getting one more in my lifetime...   That will be in November 2009 on my bottom calf.   M-DOT. :)
