When does this go away......
Being only a few days post-op, I'm sure you fall into this category. Don't worry, the insurmountable task of water intake gets easy.
Taste in your mouth? I remember a taste coming when I was taking the horse tranqualizer they had me on post-op, but it went away w/in a week or so after I stopped taking it.
Other than that, I hope someone else can give you better, more direct information.
When your body metabolizes fat, It gets sugar and ketones. Sugar is used to fuel your body And the ketones come out in your urine. That's right, you’re actually ******g away your excess weight. Ketones are yellow and they smell TERRIBLE. Your urine will be a more intense color and it will
Have a stronger odor.
BE HAPPY; your body is losing weight by burning FAT.
---F A S T---
BUT-
Since ketones come out the saliva and in your sweat, too,
Your breath will smell, You’ll have that
Taste of Death on your tongue,
and even if it’s not the first thing YOU Notice
Your Pits Reek!
IT DOES END.
Once you have passed out of the rapid weight loss stage
The body’s needs for fuel drop closer to dietary intake
And you begin feeding off your food, more than your fat.
Till then?
You will just have to carry (sugar free) breath mints.
Using a Tongue scraper helps, so does rinsing with
Baking soda, salt and water mixture,
and so does keeping water intake high.
And use extra deodorant. And enjoy the weight loss. Best Wishes- Dx
