Two weeks out .....Cheese?
I can't remember when I put cheese back in to my diet, but I do remember that I was glad when I did. Absent any directives from your doc, I would lean towards advising you to eat another two weeks at least.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.
I know this sounds really boring, but I would start out with low fat cottage cheese or yogurt for the first few weeks to a month. What happens is that when you start to test your limits with fat early on...you may be more prone to dumping. When I did add cheese to my diet, it began with nonfat string cheese. I wraped it in a piece of low fat lunchen meat (chicken or turkey). On the outside I wrapped a piece of dark green lettuce. Chewed the stuffing out of it. Boring eats now...but back then...hog heaven. Brian
One of my early favorites was cream cheese wrapped in a deli-(Tissue thin)-slice of smoked turkey or pastrami or such… I started eating cheese (cubes of Cheddar and Monterey Jack) about the time I moved to solid foods. Give a quick call to your doc on Monday. Someone will call you back, even if not the doc. Go with YOUR Docs recommendation. (What is that “they want me to right now…?” That might go better with Cheese?) Hang in there, These first weeks SUK. It DOES GET EASIER each week! Best Wishes- Dx

Hey Bro, I would tend to say follow your docs orders, don't start experimenting, it will lead to bad habits and you don;t want to go there.
