Just wanted to say thanks a lot to Brian who "advertises" the existence of the Locker Room over in TunaTown. He takes some hits from the WOW crowd for his efforts (see below) but he keeps pluggin' away. Thanks again Brian for saving the sanity of wayward WLS men who find themselves lost in the sea of "kisses and hugs."   Boner

Brian,

I read this forum, RNY and the over 50 forum. We have a couple of guys over on the over 50 forum. We are very supportive of EVERYONE on over 50. In fact, the guys post a lot and we are a very happy group. Not all men need to come to the Mens Forum for support. Some men like to read informative posts, whether they are from men or women. Believe it or not, not all men enjoy some of the crude things that are discussed on the mens board.

Crude, lewd and tatooed, Baja!! That be you. Accordingly, you are the perfect "Sargent at Arms" for the Locker Room. I hope you are feeling better after your fiesta. How's about that Armadillo lady from Bama? Interesting thread.  Boner

Your welcome Boner.  I have been cutting and pasting the same post every few days with a link to the Men's Forum.  I tell them to bookmark it if the men like what they see.  The woman is right that this forum may not be right for all men.  The forum has gotten cruder in the last few months.  But men need to find their comfort level somewhere, and the great thing about OH is there are so many forums to check out.  I used the Main Forum early out.  It really is great for getting answers to obscure questions at 3:37 am.  I use the California Forum for local friends and get togeathers.  The Men's Forum reminds me of how our grandfathers would get togeather.  They would gather either at the local coffee shop or at the barber shop to shoot the breeze.  They'd throw out ideas...have them shot down...weigh the good and bad, then go back to work.  They would do the same at the service or fraternel clubs.  That's where is see the Men's Forum at, in our high tech world of today.  Brian

Brian, Many, many Thanks for “taking up the cause.” I had hate e-mails and stalkers when I was out “pimping the Men’s Forum” over the last few years. Back in ’05, it seemed there would never be enough traffic To keep such a forum going. Thanks to the spirit of folks like you Who want to pass on a good thing to others, This forum has clearly succeeded. Keep it Up! Best Wishes- Dx

The locker room is such a valuable resource for WLS men. I like Brian's metaphor of being the "WLS barbershop for men." I guess that makes you "Floyd the Barber" from Mayberry. A little off the sides, please.  Boner

Or remember the barber shop scenes in Eddie Murphy's Coming to America?

The forum has gotten cruder in the last few months. Let's see.......how long have I been hanging out here? A couple of months I guess..............hey, wait just a doggone minute. Are you pointing the finger at me? I very seldom enter a motherf*$#ing room and raise the &%$#@mn crudeness quotient. That's a total crock of bull$^!t.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.
