Protein sup reaction?

Over the past week, I've developed a dry, red skin condition with tiny pimples on my forearms and back of my hands. This seems to coincide with exposure to the sun. I've also been taking whey protein powder in skim milk and have heard this might be a "photosensitivty" reaction. Also wonder if the oradiol I've been prescribed could be the culprit. Any similar experiences?

I have been taking the whey protien for over a year now and never had that happen, your med's as a culprit sounds like an option.

If what you are taking is URSODIOL to prevent gallstones, one of the side effects is skin rashes.  Oradiol is a birth control pill. Steve

I seriously doubt that a whey protein supplement would cause skin rashes. If you were lactose intolerant, then you would have some problems with whey, but I doubt a skin rash. Sounds like your medication. Check with your doctor or pharmacy to see about reactions. OR, type in the medication into Google, and check out potential side effects of that medication there.
