I had my 2 years labs done yesterday. Then I had a visit with my cardiologist. My bathroom digital scale and the doctors digital scale agreed--I now weigh 199. I haven't weighed that little since late 1966.  I started at 345 two years ago, and have hovered at 202-204 for the last several months. Still 199 today. DAVE

Great stuff, Dave. Congrats. I was never able to make it into "Onederland" as they say. It would be a nice notch in the old belt but I don't know if I got it in me to take off the last 15 pounds or so. Awesome job!! Boner

Sometimes is seems like it takes forever. Trying foods you like that don't put on weight, trying to eat nutritios meals, exercise, I still drink shakes, I take liquid vitamins too. I'll be interested in getting my lab results to see how my vitamin and calcium levels are too. I try to learn something every day--whether it's about WLS, my Internet business workings, Internet research, etc.

Wow Dave!  At 280, I can only dream of the 100s at this point. CB

My dream was to get to 225, which I did in 7 months.  After I got to 222, I stopped going to support meetings, and slacked off. 2 months later, I get back on the scale and I was now 242. I got back to support meetings and got back to the 222 in about 2-3 months.  I changed to a liquid vitamin, and the weight began to come off again. First down to 217, then 214, then 209, 207, and finally settled at 204 for a few months. Now I've seemed to have lost a few more pounds--not by doing more than my normal exercise--but eating a little differently, and believe it or not, drinking 4 oz of prune juice daily.  I already take stool softeners, but was feeling sluggish, so I started the prune juice about a week ago. I had a one day fast for my 2 year labs, and that put me under the 200 mark yesterday, and still there today.  Keep the dream alive by doing what you should daily. You can see that I lost "ground" by slacking off, and it took some real effort to get those 20 pounds back off.  My profile page kind of lists a blow by blow history of my weight loss, not including the past couple of weeks. When I get lab results I'll post those too.

I hate you, I say respectfully . . . Seriously, what a great goal to have reached. My feeble joke about hating you is based on our similar experience: 345 start, hovering in the 206-208 range, not quite 2 years out. My last time in the 100s was 1975. So in actuality, your FART gives me renewed energy to persist ever downward. CONGRATS!
