Back Home from Surg.
Glad you are on the bench. The best advice I can give you is to keep the papers from your doctor handy and stay with his program and diet as close as you can. The rest will fall into place. Feel good.

That first week is your chance to learn to love beef and chicken bouillon, I would add a little tobasco or dried onion chips flavor.
Also the first week is your chance to drink all the Isopure flavors, I liked Blue Raspberry
and the Apple Melon

When you switch over to thicker liquids, you can use a blender to mix up more types of soups and veggies and unjury to bump up the protein. blended lintel soup and chocolate or vanilla SF pudding with ungury was my main stay for that period.

Congrats on your successful surgery. Lots of good info here in prior posts which should help you figure out "life after WLS." Most importantly, your WLS team will lead you down the right path so follow their orders and don't be afraid to ask them (or us) any questions which come to mind. My best, Boner
Congratulations Tom
I'm going in tomorrow
As far as I know, I'll probably have an open also. The surgeon told me that I carry my "flab" too high so there might not be enough room to operate with the lap. I've been lurking around here since January, and have read all about the good, bad, and ugly of WLS. I know that things will get better (I've got to remember to tell myself that in a couple of days). You guys save me a spot on the Loosers Bench for me, I'll be the "rookie".
